Ezra is an eighteen-year old senior at Lincoln Academy in Newcastle, ME. He lives in Alna (near Wiscasset) on the Maine Coast. He grew up outside in the rugged mountains of Arizona, and fosters a deep connection and love for the environment. He also loves to create; he never goes longer than a few minutes without a project, wether that project is making wooden swords or deciphering the secrets of the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Ezra has taken multiple classes over the years, mainly a Permaculture Design Course, a photovoltaic panel class, the Purely Post and Beam timber framing course at the Shelter Institute, and a humanure forum at the Common Ground Fair. In his spare time, Ezra sketches designs for passive solar houses or hydrogen cars. He likes to carve, throw pots (pottery), read, and kayak. He loves to be outside and strives to encourage others to notice and appreciate nature too
